Conversational Search

Synopsis

Conversational Search refers to a method of information seeking that takes the form of a highly interactive conversation on the information need and relevant answers. It thus goes beyond the classical query-response paradigm. In this regard, our research aims to tackle issues like result presentation, clarification, user modeling, and external knowledge access. In order to foster research on Conversational Search, we co-organize a Dagstuhl Seminar on this topic. This project received funding from the Google Digital News Initiative.
